Jannika is a German documentary filmmaker and journalist, located in Baden-Württemberg. She offers an infinite passion for visual storytelling, directing and writing. 

Based on her long term working experiences as a journalist for the German national broadcasting channels ARD and ZDF, for different newspapers and production companies and a crossmedial education at Stuttgart Media University and Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg she features a various range of skills as a director, producer, researcher, journalist, writer and Social Media content creator.  

Supporting the international and intercultural exchange in documentary filmmaking is important to Jannika. In January 2024, she became part of this year's Young Europeans Jury at FIPADOC in France.

In her latest films and stories she deals with social grievances and issues of equality and human rights.
